Philip Hyldgaard
Philip is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of The A21 Campaign, a global organisation dedicated to ending human trafficking. As the first employee of A21, he established the organisation’s first field office in Greece, the first shelter for victims of human trafficking, and launched the first national human trafficking hotline. For his efforts, Philip was recognised with the Trafficking In Persons Hero Award from the U.S. State Department.
Philip also led A21's response to the Syrian refugee crisis from 2015 to 2017, spearheading significant efforts to protect and warn refugees about the dangers of human trafficking. A21 received the Mother Theresa Award for its work across Europe and Northern Iraq during this time.
He holds an advanced diploma in leadership and is currently completing a master's degree in business administration. Philip is married to Nina, and together they have a daughter and a son on the way this summer. They are based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
