Caroline Lamb

Caroline is the founder of CRESS, a charity offering Christian Relief and Education for South Sudanese in Uganda. Caroline attended Holy Trinity Brompton in the early 1980s and lived in the Salisbury Diocese where she was a lay leader in her local Anglican church. Following a visit to South Sudan in September 2009 and hearing God’s call, she set up CRESS working with the Diocese of Kajo Keji under the leadership of Bishop Anthony Poggo. In 2011, following another civil war in South Sudan, the charity CRESS was forced to leave South Sudan and re-start from nothing, working with Bishop Joseph Aba’s church in exile in the refugee camps of Northern Uganda. CRESS is the sole funder of the Diocese led by Bishop Joseph Aba and has been instrumental in setting up social transformation projects impacting some 140,000 refugees and supporting his exponential church growth.
